Worked across the weekend, the floor joists and sub-floor are now in place, laying out the upper walls Monday and ordering the balance of lumber for the main floor. The lumber arrived on Tuesday as scheduled however the vendor messed up with some of the order causing us to loose a day of framing. On Wednesday we completed the underground plumbing including the roughed in the plumbing for the lower floor bathroom. The inspector passed the plumbing on Thursday morning and by Thursday afternoon we had a second inspection for the slab seal, this is the steel reinforcing bar and vapour barrier under the concrete slab. Although you can`t see from the pictures this week, the walls will be standing on the upper floor by the end Friday October 9th.
